Long-only trend following: buy at the next daily open after a close above the 20-day high, exit at the next open after a close below the 10-day low.
Read this first. This is the one approach that held up in testing (about +26% a year in the backtest, but with a -20% worst drawdown, about 1 in 5 twelve-month windows losing, and results flattered by using today's surviving coins). Only about 4 in 10 trades win: a few big winners pay for many small losses. Sizing rule: risk 0.5% of the account per trade (entry to the 10-day low), never more than 20% of the account in one coin, at most 10 open positions. It scans every 30 minutes, but signals only change at the daily close (00:00 UTC = 03:00 your time). Not financial advice. Paper account below starts from today.

Two ways to run it (same trades, tested on 4 years)

ProfileHowWin rateReturn / yrMax drawdown
GrowthHold the whole position until price closes below the 10-day low40%+23%-22%
SteadySell half at +1R (the "Half-profit level" column), move the stop on the rest to your entry, then exit on the 10-day low50%+14%-13%
Taking profits early raises the win rate but lowers the return by about the same proportion as the drawdown, so neither profile is better in risk-adjusted terms. Pick the one you can stick with.
